Scott and Daryl were the only members present for the day. After an already long weekend travelling the country with Speedway as well. A slow start to the day with fouling up a spark plug didn't let Daryl qualify well. However by the end of the day he was the quickest in class and 21st out of 39 Competitors. Daryl even surprised spectators with some interesting passing lines around the sweeper in the Multi Car Sprints, anything to keep competitors on their toes.

 

September 2006 - Taupo A1GP Track - Fourth Round of Toyo Tires Series 2006.

The MSB Motorsport Team thought they would take on the Taupo Full Track and the 4th Round of this series to give them some idea of the competition in the class. A dry day kept the MSB Motorsport Team busy changing wheels to alter set ups and kept Daryl very busy behind the wheel. Even though it felt like you could have a cup of tea down the straight it was that long. Again another exciting performance from the Team and this little baby keeps getting better and better. 3rd in Class and 57th out of 72 Competitors.

 

August 2006 - Pirongia Hillclimb - Third Round of Toyo Tires Series 2006.

Daryl and the newly formed MSB Motorsport Team headed out to Pirongia to take part in this Hillclimb. The recently purchased MSB Motorsport Toyota Starlet had some basic checks done but nothing major for the first event. The event was wet and Daryl enjoyed getting back into "Tin Top" racing and hadn't lost much of the nack either a 1st in Class in his first outing, and 33rd out of 47 Competitors. Great Job done and magic work by the team all day.
