May 2008 - Kairangi Rd Tarmac Bentsprint
- Cambridge Area - Daryl competed in the MSB Motorsport Mazda 323, and was in a very competitive field of 55 cars and got
some fast runs in on this technical and fast piece of road. Daryl finished 11th Overall and 5th in Class. Great day and strong
results for the MSB Motorsport team.
April 2008 - Heads Rd Tarmac Hillclimb
- Cambridge Area - Daryl and the MSB Motorsport Team headed out to Heads Rd with the Mazda 323 in tow while the Nissan Pulsar
is still getting repaired. The hillclimb was shorter than Ruapuke Rd the week before but a lot more technical as well.
Hopeful of a good result and against a different group of competitors as well. Day went well with some strong runs and improvements
made as the day went on and some finer adjustments with an Overall Result of 6th achieved and even better with 3rd in Class
and we just keep collecting the points towards Club Points Series as well.
March 2008 - Ruapuke Rd Tarmac Bentsprint - Raglan Area - With the unfortunate situation of not
having the Nissan Pulsar due to rolling it. Daryl pulled the "Old Girl" out of the shed in the form of the MSB Motorsport
Mazda 323. After shaking off early nerves and caution the MSB Motorsport had a very successful day with Daryl finishing 3rd
Overall and 1st in Class. A very successful result for the team and some much needed points for the Club Points Series.
February
2008 - Vaile Rd 1/4 Mile Sprint - This was a Hamilton Car Club event and the first step of Daryl's challenge for
club points. With the Nissan not ready the Mazda was used. Setting a time of 14.42 seconds was a strong effort but only managed
13th Overall and 4th in Class.
November
2007 - Murrays Rd Hillclimb (Gravel) - Second Part of Pukekohe Car Club Speed Weekend. Daryl's first time on gravel
for over 5 years and first time in the Mazda. Times got quicker as the day went on. And that was the most important thing.
MSB Motorsport team getting more confident and a real feeling for the gravel, finished about mid pack but exciting times ahead.

2007 - Bright Rd Hillclimb (Tarmac) - First Part of Pukekohe Car Club Speed Weekend. Daryl finished 11th Overall
(out of 52 entries) a very strong result given the company of the field.

2007 - Pirongia Hillclimb - 5th and Last Round of Toyo Series 2007. With the car looking the picture and going well
now hopes were high. Daryl didn't disappoint either with an awesome 5th Overall (2nd in Series Points). Great team effort
and the MSB Motorsport Team were stoked with the sucess we are getting now.
September 2007 - Taupo
Dual Sprint - 4th Round of Toyo Series 2007. Daryl still getting use to the Mazda on Tarmac and had a resonable result and
ironing out a few more bugs and getting quicker. 16th Overall (8th in Series Points). Good points haul heading into last round.
August 2007 - Hiwi
Road Bentsprint - 3rd Round of Toyo Series 2007. Daryl and Scott both entered and got some real success and speed out
of the MSB Motorsport Mazda. 8th Overall (3rd in Series Points) for Daryl and 19th Overall for Scott in first outing ever.
July 2007 - First Outing in the Mazda for Daryl with some
type of sucess. Second Round of Toyo Series 2007 - Autocross. A very credible and exciting 10th Overall out of 68. With
a 4th in Class. Promising result with the "Magic Mazda" now running but still not fully tuned.
