November 2008 - Hamilton Kart Club Day. Jason was looking forward to the day after a very educational day with the Kartsport Academy on the Saturday. With him now a lot more comfortable with the karts new set up the results were gonig to be promising. In a class of 6 the 1st Heat had the best possible start with Jason's 1st outright race win. He then finished 2nd in Heat 2, 3 and 4 but had a great tussle with the eventual race winner in those heats. Daryl and Jason made some signifigant changes to the kart set up for the longer final and put together the race strategy to suit. With 3 laps to go in the final Jason took the lead and never let it go. A great day with 2 wins out of 5 but unfortunately only a 2nd Overall for the day. Watch Out everybody else now!!!!

 

October 2008 - Hamilton Kart Club Day. After a bit of a break and some setup changes done to the kart we were going to be a little slow out of the box this time. Jason never running the CIK Format of qualifying and then 2 heats, pre final and final was just another thing to get his head around. The setup slowly got better during the day, but still not back to the pace of the previous meetings. Jason finished 4th out of 7 in his class and had some good duals with higher rated drivers. Lets hope we can get back in the seat soon and keep momentum up. 

 

August 2008 - Hamilton Kart Club Point Day. A fine day dawned and so did a high quality field with North Island Champs being only just around the corner at Hamilton. 12 Drivers, 6 of them some of the best in the country. Jason raced extremely well and consistently all day beating some of the "A" Rated drivers in the earlier races. 6th Overall was a great result and now Jason is dropping his fastest lap times even quicker and slowly starting to keep pace with the top guys in the field. A promising sign of things to come. 

 

June 2008 - Third Round of the Club Points Series at Hamilton. A mixture of weather on the day but great results and times set down by Jason during the day really paving the way forward for the MSB Motorsport Team in the coming meetings. 2nd Overall in Yamaha Heavys, good form to launch from. 

 

March 2008 - First Round of Club Points Series and hopeful of a good result. Had some good moments and great passes, and got the set up a little more settled with these new Tender Tyres. 7th Overall a good platform to launch from in the next Round at RV Wholesale Supplies Raceway in Hamilton.

 

February 2008 - Promising start to the new season being about 5th Overall going into the final out of 12 in KT Heavy. Unfortunately DNF in the Final cost us any chance of a good placing.
