November 2008 - Teng Tools Tarmac Series is over for another year and the Annual Prizegiving was held. After Daryl not being able to complete the final round at the Pirongia Hillclimb because of an extensive engine rebuild. Daryl still finished the series very well and attained one of his goals for the year which was a Top 3 Result in the Tarmac Series. After two outright round wins and a miss timed event at Taupo Daryl managed to pick up 3rd Overall and 2nd in Class for the Series. A great effort after the problems endured with the car that will be fixed and see the Pulsar back and faster than ever for 2009.

September 2008 - Teng Tools Tarmac Series - Dual Sprint - Taupo Raceway. The MSB Motorsport Team had a day of frustration and mixed results. All topped up by the now blown Head Gasket on the MSB Motorsport Nissan Pulsar and more time in the workshop needed. Result for the day was 17th Overall and 7th in Class out of 74 Competitors. Unfortunately Daryl couldn't replicate the form of earlier rounds but will be looking for a huge improvement in the Series Final Round which is the Pirongia Hillclimb in November.

August 2008 - Teng Tools Tarmac Series - Bentsprint - Hiwi Rd. With the day looking like it was going to rain at any stage it was gonig to be very interesting. Daryl set the fastest times in both the 1st and 2nd runs and with the rain coming down for the 3rd it secured 1st Overall for Daryl and 1st in class for the Bentsprint with a time of 54.31 seconds. Another great result for the MSB Motorsport Team and finally starting to put the full potential of the MSB Motorsport Nissan Pulsar to good use and get some really promising results.

August 2008 - Grass Autocross - Hamilton Car Club. Another round of Hamilton Car Club Points. Daryl headed out to this just trying to stay in touch with the pack in Club Points and had no high expectations. But after having a good first run and being fast and consistent throughout the day Daryl walked away with 3rd Overall and 2nd in Class out of 35 which was a much greater points haul then what the team was expecting from this.

July 2008 - Pukekohe Dual Sprints - Pukekohe Raceway. A round of Hamilton Car Club Points. Daryl and Scott headed up to Pukekohe as the only members of MSB Motorsport as the others were absent with other commitments. With wet weather around the area the track was in less than perfect condition, some very quick cars were there and this was going to be a real challenge for Daryl. With the track changing throughout the day Daryl's fastest time was 1 minute 12.12 seconds a good time for a non track car. This was a fantastic time that gave Daryl 2nd Overall for the day only .06 of a second off 1st. Also the first 4WD home, its a great result for the MSB Motorsport Team, the Nissan Pulsar and Daryl an awesome day overall.

July 2008 - Teng Tools Tarmac Series - Autocross - Hamilton. Second Round of the Tarmac Series with Daryl and the MSB Motorsport Pulsar paired up again. Day started well but a miss in the engine was halting progress a little. Once it was cleared Daryl set the fastest time of the day and took 1st Overall for the day and 1st in Class. A great result and showed the long hours spent on the car by the whole MSB Motorsport is now showing up with the results.

June 2008 - Teng Tools Tarmac Series - Motokahna - Hamilton - First Event of Tarmac Series and also the first event back out for the MSB Motorsport Nissan Pulsar after rollover at Rotorua. Car looking great but not suited to the event was going to be the major difficulty. With 4 courses of tight and tricky tests 4WD's were not suited but Daryl managed a very exciting 11th Overall and 3rd in Class out of 60 Competitors. A great start to the Tarmac Series for Daryl and the whole MSB Motorsport Team.

March 2008 - Ngongotaha Hillclimb - Rotorua - Second event for the MSB Motorsport Nissan Pulsar and the decision was made by Daryl so he could start to get use to the car with a busy season ahead. Ended up 7th Overall out of 20 and 6th in Class. Unfortunately day ended badly with Daryl and Scott crashing the Nissan off the road, thru a fence and rolling down a bank (pictures can be seen on MSB Projects and Wreckage Yard pages). Car pretty wrecked, team gutted!!!

February 2008 - Ngutunui Hillclimb - Pirongia - First Event for the MSB Motorsport Nissan Pulsar Gti-R, promising results with getting quckier during the day and 18th Overall out of 53 and 6th in Class.
